    Hello everyone :)

    I thought I would touch base with you all to update everyone. Nugget is has been home with me for awhile now, he is still getting used to being inside but he got used to his harness for outside walkies very quickly! :) He has healed excellently and is enjoying being back at home with me, receiving all of the love and attention I can give ❤️

    I'd like to say again a special thanks to every single one of you lovely people for helping save nuggets life!! And a massive thank you to Julie, her staff and the vets who cared for him 💕 nugget loves you all massively and we will continue to be ever so greatful! ❤️ much love ~ me and nugget 💓

  • Update on donations

    Hi there everyone, I'd like to again say a huge thank you to everyone who helped towards nuggets costs and care ❤ I have been asked to update you all on what is now happening with the funds raised :)

    $1033.89 will be use on all the vet bills that I incurred.

    The remaining $1494.06 will be passed onto Julie to contribute to his costs of surgery and any future costs needed 🙂

    Best wishes and kind regards to you all 💕 nugget is continuing to heal and will have his pins out in a few weeks, I will update you all again after this :) xx

    Hi everyone, just checking in to let you all know nugget is healing quickly and is super happy with his little holiday at julies animal Refuge ❤ he has even made friends with all of the rescue kitties!! 🐈

    I thank you all again for your amazing thoughts and wishes towards nuggets and my own wellbeing, you have all helped sooo much in so many ways ❤

    This is Nugget today, head held high, shining in the sun 🌞 the nugget lives on!!! Xx

  • Updated goal

    I have spoken to Julie today about the bill for nuggets surgery, she has told me she is still waiting for the vet to let us know how much it is but could be around $3000 which is so much less than what the specialist quoted, this plus the remaining bills I have from the three other vets which was around $1100. Once I have an exact amount I will change the goal again and keep you all updated, thank you so much for your generosity and kindness ❤ xx

  • Nugget made it!!

    Hi everyone! Just letting you all know nugget has had his surgery thanks to the amazing help of Julie and everyone who's donated ❤ nugget is eating, drinking and on the road to recovery!! He continues to amaze me!!

    Julie has said I could have nugget back if I wanted aswell which I was really shocked to hear as it was a massive commitment her taking him on and getting him the care he needs, I didn't expect this but I'm SO HAPPY!!! She is such a compassionate, loving lady ❤

    I am going to speak with her next week to see what would happen with the costs of his surgery if he's returned to me, I will keep you all updated. The current donations will go towards his vet bills I have on my account and the remaining to julies animal Refuge ❤

    Thank you all so much for the support and kindness, I was so lost when I was struggling to help nugget and make the right choices for him and myself. You all helped with more than just the donations, much love and light to you all xxx :)

  • Update on nuggets journey

    Hi guys! I've had a really busy weekend so I haven't gotten to my phone yet to update everyone, I surrendered nugget to julies animal Refuge kaipara flats on Saturday in a final effort to save his life and get him the care he needs, I realized even if he went for surgery there was no way I could properly care for him around the clock when I need a job desperately.

    Nugget is settling in and is doing well, he is booked in for Wednesday with a vet Julie has found who said can do his surgery which is great news! 😁 I will be leaving the page up to continue gathering donations to pay for all his bills and his surgery, I have him posted on a lot of Facebook pages so it's going to take me awhile to get around to letting everyone know but if you want to you're welcome to spread the word for me :) ❤

    Wish my little boy a speedy recovery, we couldn't have done it without you all xx

  • The outrageous bill 😭

    Hi guys so I just got the quote and it's more than they quoted on the phone. I'm gobsmacked!! 😔

    I am currently seeing if I can surrender him to Julies Animal Refuge so he can get the care he needs as I wouldn't be able to take care of him after his operation, he would stay there as part of julies family if they take him on which is great!!

    The amount given is too large and I'm not sure if we would make it in time so we are looking at alternative options. If we can't make the goal we are hoping he can have a tape muzzle fitted and just pray his jaw heals, the money donated would still go towards this way of treatment and any medical costs involved.

    This would be forwarded to julies animal Refuge ❤ please keep sharing ❤

  • Almost half way there!!

    Hi guys just an update, so far we have raised $4,400 (my Nana's 2k, my 1k and all of the donations) which is enough to get nugget in for his X-rays and surgery!! I am so overwhelmed with everyone's help and generosity ❤ we still need to reach the target so he can be released after he has recovered, I have just landed myself a job today as well so I can start working hard to pay off this bill!!! I said I would do anything possible to get nugget help and things are looking good! Please keep sharing, tell your friends and family, we are one step closer to nugget surviving this horrible ordeal!! Love and light to you all ❤

  • Please help asap

    Hi everyone, I have had a rough day today, I have been non stop calling around places trying to figure a way to pay for nuggets surgery, I am starting to worry as I am running out of options and I am so stressed out :( I love him so much I have even thought about surrendering him to a rescue just so he gets the surgery he needs. He is my son and I'm finding it so difficult to give up. Its just not an option in my head but I am worried I won't be able to gather funds fast enough and I don't want him to be in any discomfort anymore. PLEASE share to anyone you know, even $10 goes a long way! He deserves to live after what the monster did to him. I am begging now and I have cried so much 😢 I am hoping for a miracle asap

  • Nuggets surgery

    Hi guys. So nugget is home with me at the moment. He is eating, drinking, walking and rolling around on the floor just like his normal self on pain medication currently.

    The animal referral center in albany have said it could cost 6.5 - 9k. I need to pay half of this when he gets his CT scan then the other half after surgery when he can come home. My nana has generously offered to pay 2k towards his CT scan. This leaves me with the remaining amount.

    Please share far and wide, to your friends overseas etc.

    I am so appreciative of the kind and generous people who have already donated.
