Nuggets life saving surgery - JUSTICE FOR NUGGET.

My name is Nugget, i am only 8 years old, my loving mum has had me since i was 5 weeks old.

After a chain of unfortunate events my mum has been through in the past two months, she had gotten out of MIQ after spending 14 days isolating. Her landlord had told her 5 days earlier that i had gone missing and that they had heard a gunshot go off.. My mum tried not to worry as she thought i had just gone bush. Little did she know i had been shot in the face and i had been in extreme pain for a few days, i was unable to eat so i was starving and weak.

When my mum got home she tried looking for me, i was nowhere to be seen. She started looking for patches of my fur where i usually rest on the bed and on the couch, she started worrying when she noticed i hadn't finished my bikkies, she then looked under the table where i hide when i'm scared, to her horror she had found my blood..

She called for me for hours, i could hear her but i was just too scared and sore, i waited until it was dark, then i hear her call again, i meow as hard as i can over the hill. My mum is frantic as she jumps a fence and runs through bushes, not caring if she got hurt. She reaches the driveway between two houses and calls me again, i meow and meow until she finds me. I am walking around trying to get to her with all of my strength. Then she sees my eyes glowing off the reflection of her phone light, she runs to me and i can hear her voice shaking. I start to walk her home but she refuses and scoops me up.

I know i am safe now... i can rest in her arms as she carries my fragile body home, i hate being carried but i know she is helping me. I have lost a lot of weight because i couldn't eat, but i am STRONG!

I was rushed to the warkworth vets and they confirmed i had been shot by a gun, shattering one side of my mandible. I remember i once survived a dog attack, so i can survive this!!!! I am being sent to a dental specialist to see if they can help me, my mum is scared and worried as she only has little savings in her bank account and lost her job due to vax status. She is trying to be strong and positive that i will make it with the help from all of you awesome, generous and kind people.

I am loved, i am safe, i am cared for <3

The person who shot me illegally has hurt me and my mum SO bad. JUSTICE FOR NUGGET!!!!

The animal referral center for his surgery is 224 albany highway, schnapper rock. Ph 092815815.

They said it will cost 6.5 - 9k and they need half of this up front before surgery then the other half when he is released. My nana has generously offered to pay 2k for his CT scan luckily and I am putting in 1k. Its just the remaining amount i need to fundraise. Please help nugget, even $10 will go a long way, Thank you <3
