To raise money to attend the 2018 Pacific Rim Gymnastic Championships in Columbia as a member of the New Zealand U18 team.

I am William Fu-Allen from Nelson. I am a 15 year old college student and a member of the New Zealand U18 Gymnastics Team. I have been doing competitive gymnastics for 8 years and I train for a minimum of 20 hours a week in Nelson all year round and have further specialist training in Auckland during school holidays.
In December I competed for New Zealand at the Valeri Liukin Championships in Texas USA, winning the Gold Medal for Vault and placing 5th in the All-Around event. I have now qualified to compete for New Zealand U18 at the Pacific Rim Championships in Columbia in April. This is a hugely prestigious event allowing me to compete against many of the top gymnasts in the world, including teams from the USA, Canada, Russia, Japan, Korea and China.
I am a very dedicated gymnast hoping to make an impact on the world stage. Later in 2018 I am intending to compete for NZ at the Australian National Championships which will also be a trial for the 2018 Junior Olympics.

Use of funds
To attend the Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships. I need to raise funds to help cover the costs including entry, flights, accommodation and further specialist coaching. Any surplus would go towards my later international events for New Zealand
