NEW ZEALAND SNEAKERHEAD DOCUMENTARY 2021

Sneakers are much more than just a few pieces of rubber and leather.

For the kidults who were baptized by NBA basketball and hip-hop music in the 80s, 90s till now... sneakers holds huge amounts of sentimental value for them.

Now the NZ Sneakerhead market place has 22k members, Unlike most of the sneaker community overseas, this community has been helping most of their members getting countless thought-after sneakers way under the resell market value. They also raised fund for charity and helping some of their fellow members during hard times.

This documentary aims to document individual sneaker collectors and their stories that make NZ Sneakerhead Community so inclusive, fun and unique. It is the only New Zealand Sneakerhead and sneaker culture history archive. This is the only NZ documentary that you can find crazy sneaker-related stories that lead to amazing encounters and life long friendships.

This documentary is completed self-funded, self-filmed & self-produced. I started filming in Nov 2020, wrapped up filming in Feb 2021.
