NZ U21 Hockey Sultan of Jahor Cup

G’day team.

I’m Malachi Buschl, 18 years old and fundraising for my upcoming trip to Malaysia for the Sultan of Jahor Hockey Cup with the New Zealand U21 men’s team. This tournament is in October and is fairly costly. Unfortunately like many sports, this trip is fully funded by the players involved. My other trips and tournaments, whilst partaking in tertiary education means 2018 has been a very expensive year.

I have worked hard over the past few years in my hockey, but the cost of playing at the elite level is substantial. My mum has payed for most of my sport my whole life, but I do not want this upcoming trip to be too much of a financial burden on her. The cost of the Malaysia trip is around $4000, so anything helps. Any excess money will go towards paying for the upcoming National Hockey League tournament in September of this year.
