New Zealand Water Polo trip

This December I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Australia as part of the U20 New Zealand Water Polo Team. This selection is part of our campaign toward the 2027 World Championships. This will also be the age group that will be working towards the 2032 Olympics in Brisbane, which I am aiming for.

Earlier this year I competed in the Canberra Cup with a Men’s Development Team, where we won Gold, and in June I was the youngest member of the U20 Men’s Team at the World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia. These experiences have pushed me to grow as both an athlete and a person, and they’ve fuelled my determination to keep improving.

I’m also incredibly proud to have been nominated as a Finalist for the Auckland Sports Person of the Year Awards, being held at Eden Park on 27 November.

Representing New Zealand is an honour, but it also comes with significant costs, including travel, accommodation, tournament fees, and ongoing training expenses. As a young athlete, covering these on my own is challenging, so I’m reaching out for support.
