New Zealand Women's Ice Hockey team member fundraising for World Championship

I’ve devoted much my childhood and early adult years to playing both inline and Ice Hockey. These sports are fun, yes, but they have also built my strong and loyal character, allowed me to meet some of my best friends, and to discover what it’s like to belong to a community of similar minded people.

This would be my seventh year dawning the black and white jersey to represent New Zealand with the Women’s National Ice Hockey Team. The feeling from the time I put that jersey over my head to the final words of our national anthem on the loud speaker is something I can’t describe in only a word. Just know that I am proud and humbled to have the opportunity to step on that ice in a quest to bring home gold. It would mean the world to me to have that opportunity one more time.
