Help us get NZ great freshwater policy for healthy rivers!

Aotearoa New Zealand, its people, and its wildlife deserve clean, safe healthy rivers and lakes.

To protect our waterways, we need good freshwater policy that has strong, meaningful limits on pollution and rules to stop the highest polluters.

The Govt will finalise its freshwater policy this year, 2020, but it is under serious pressure from those who want to protect polluters and weaken the policy.

Choose Clean Water is a volunteer campaign, run by people love rivers and lakes and want to leave them safe and healthy for our kids.

Despite being volunteers, we work very hard. This is our passion, we have been working on this campaign since 2015 and we are determined to see it through to having great freshwater policy in place.

Strong, meaningful policy will put NZ on the right path to healthy water and a healthy future.

Help us raise up the voice of the public. We need funding to campaign effectively and provide opportunities for people like you to have their voices heard over the next months while the policy is being finalised.

All funding will go to printing and producing campaign materials, which is essential but our biggest cost.
