For the first time ever, NZ Eid Day is going to be held at Christchurch!. That means we have two events! The first will be in Auckland and the other will be in Christchurch!

The Christchurch wing of NZ Eid day will be having an Eid Celebration on Sunday 9th of June. This event will be for the close knit community of Christchurch, unlike our regular Auckland event, which is open for all.

New Zealand Eid Day is a family based annual event celebrating the major "Eid" holidays observed by Muslims worldwide. On this day, our vision is to create an atmosphere of happiness, fun, diversity and unity, where New Zealand's Muslims and the wider community can come together to celebrate the joyous spirit of Eid.

New Zealand Eid Day offers a wide variety of educational displays, cultural exhibits and food stalls across the venue welcoming all visitors to learn, embrace and taste the many flavours of diversity amongst the Muslim community.

To enhance the spirit of celebration, New Zealand Eid Day brings you a collection of stage shows presenting entertaining performances, an active MC, and joyful Islamic anasheed appealing to all.

As a family based event, New Zealand Eid Day invites children of all ages to enjoy our wide selection of games including bouncy castles, a toddler play land, mechanical bull, and more.

This is a public event and all are welcome regardless of faith, ethnicity, gender and age.
