Eid Al-Fitr, also called the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
New Zealand Eid Day is a not-for-profit event that is open to the general public. Our purpose is to bring together New Zealand Muslims in the spirit of celebration, unity and faith.
Having operated since 2011, New Zealand Eid Day strives to run memorable Eid events in partnership with the wider community with the vision of a more connected and integrated Muslim community in New Zealand.

New Zealand Eid day is fundraising for the children in need
100% of funds donated will go towards the event hosted in New Zealand. This includes event hire, games and entertainment, cleaners, security, sound and audio, electricity and everything else needed to run an event like this!
Kia Kaha Christchurch - Eid Festival (9/6/19) 2 June 2019
For the first time ever, NZ Eid Day is going to be held at Christchurch!. That means we have two events! The first will be in Auckland and the other will be in Christchurch!
The Christchurch wing of NZ Eid day will be having an Eid Celebration on Sunday 9th of June. This event will be for the close knit community of Christchurch, unlike our regular Auckland event, which is open for all.
