Kia Ora!

The 2017 World Dwarf Games will be held in Guelph, Canada. New Zealand are sending two athletes, Nina and Ella, to compete.

New Zealand have not sent anyone over in a while and we are hoping that by going this year we will inspire future athletes with dwarfism from around the country to attend in the games to follow.

We are both competing in badminton singles and doubles and will be also competing in some other sports.

Use of funds

Your support would mean the world to us and would go towards flights, registration and accommodation at the games. As one of us lives in the North Island and the other in the South Island training for doubles can get quite pricey! So every bit counts :)

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
