Oby's New Legs

$575 of $10,000 goal
Given by 11 generous donors in around 4 months

Support for the recovery of Oby. A beloved Family dog.

Auckland

Support towards the recovery costs of Oby, a beloved family dog who unfortunately was hit by a fast moving vehicle while out on his toilet stop - breaking his legs. Surgery has been the only option, and the bills are stacking up.

Broken both the Femur and Pelvis, it's going to be a long road to recovery for this big softy.

The bill has exceeded over $11,700 for the two surgeries, the emergency care and all costs related to his treatment.

All funds raised will go towards paying the vet bill for the after hours and emergency care related to the incident, as well as the surgery.

A emergency trip to Napier (where he was holidaying) and back to Auckland in the space of 24 hours shows the drive and dedication Sammy and her family have for keeping this little man around.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
