Oceania Judo Open competition Tahiti 2024

Please come on board to support Danie Oosthuizen, NZ #1 seed -100kg 1st Dan black belt Judoka in his international debut competing for Judo New Zealand's team in the 2024 Oceania Judo Union Open competition in Tahiti.

Danie's recent Judo accomplishments include:

> Auckland International Open (08/07/23) - Silver Medal Senior Men -100 kg, Silver Medal Veterans +90kg (Only New Zealander to place in these categories at this event)

> North Island Championships (12/08/23) - Silver Medal Senior Men -100 kg

> South Island Championships (09/09/23) - Gold Medal Senior Men -100 kg

> NZ National Championships (07/10/23) - Gold Medal Senior Men -100 kg

Danie has also contributed to the sport through coaching Juniors and refereeing at numerous events from Funday's through to National Championships and Auckland International Open competitions.

Judo is a self-funded sport in New Zealand, all contributions will help Danie in achieving his dream of representing New Zealand on the international stage. OJU Open competition is held 1-2 June 2024, the countdown's begun.
