Ohura A+P Show -"Keeping it Alive +Kicking " Music Event

Manawatu / Whanganui

I am putting on a Music event at the Ohura A+P Show with the aim of adding something different, to bring along more people and to Keep it Going!!! ,we are 109 yrs old and one of the few remaining district A+P Shows left. The Bands and Sound System are all organised and booked and looking forward to performing at it. I did apply for a Trustpower "Heartland Community Fund "grant but my application was unsuccessful. They somehow overlooked informing me in early December that we didn't get it ,finding out just before it went into the newspaper. So i am now left with not much time to find funds to cover the costs, someone suggested doing a" Give a Little "page , so here we are. The Total cost of the Event is $3,000,so what ever you feel you want to give would be very much appreciated

Use of funds

The money will go towards paying for the Sound System and Bands. Any money that doesn't get used for the Music Event will go towards restoration of the Grandstand at the show grounds.
