To my incredible friends: you were my strength. From organising donations, running and biking hundreds of kilometers, to holding raffle nights and reaching out to business, you have supported me in ways that leave me speechless. I feel incredibly blessed to have friends who would go to these lengths, and I am forever grateful for each of you.

I’ve also come away with a new appreciation for the amazing doctors, nurses and health care workers who dedicate their lives everyday to saving others. To anyone else walking a similar path through health battles, please know you’re not alone. I understand how challenging it can be, and I’m sending strength and hope your way.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. When I’m able to return to New Zealand, I’d love to send each of you a small thank you card. And to the private donor’s, if you feel comfortable, please feel free to reach out to me so I can send a personal card too please.

With love and all my gratitude,

    Olivia 💗

    Hello Beautiful People,

It’s Olivia here, checking in from the other side of surgery! On the 22nd of October, I went into the Royal London Hospital for a long 12-hour operation to remove my brain tumor. Thanks to an extraordinary team of neurosurgeons, they were able to remove 90% of the tumor without sacrificing the surrounding nerves. After a week in the hospital, I’m finally out and starting my road to recovery. This whole experience has given me a new perspective and a deep appreciation for the kindness, generosity, and love that surrounds me. I feel so incredibly lucky to have experienced this at such a young age.

I don’t think I could ever truly capture how deeply moved and overwhelmed I feel by the outpouring of kindness, generosity, and support that has surrounded me during this time. Not only have you supported me but also my family, who have been able to be here by my side for recovery. Because of you I was able to have this surgery in London and receive the best care possible, something I don’t know I would be able to experience back home. Your support has lifted a huge weight from my shoulders, allowing me to focus on recovery, knowing that everything else was taken care of.

  • !! THANK YOU !!!

      30 September 2024

Thank you all so much for your support over the last month, we have raised $15k for our lovely Olivia!! Olivias surgery is going ahead at the end of October and all the funds we have raised have really helped take a bit of the pressure off her.

Big kudos out to Anna for absolutely smashing out 10km every day in September and all the people that ran for me once I went down with an injury!! Max chopped all his hair off and Olivia Milne biked 200km in one go AND organised an amazing raffle!

THANK YOU to everyone who came along to the quiz night, we raised $2,523! Thank you to Barney & the Sail for putting on a great night. Also a massive thank you to Work Outfitters for printing the Team Olivia tee-shirts and Unique Hair and Beauty for donating the hair products for the raffle.

Olivia thanks you so so much for all your support xx
