Please help Oliver Cowley represent New Zealand in the European Optimist Champs in Wales this July 2015

Oliver has spent 100’s of hours training in the hope he could someday represent NZ in sailing. Last Easter his dream came true.

Hi. Thank you for your consideration of helping me represent New Zealand at the European Optimist Championships in Wales this July. I once thought that all the hours spent training was going to be the most difficult part of the journey towards NZ representation. Now I’ve realise the costs involved! And the sacrifices my parents have made already made to help get this this far! So I’m putting doing what I can to help fundraise to cover the costs of the travel. It have been amazed at how much things cost when you travel overseas representing NZ. We are a long way from Europe, and while I can only dream of getting somewhere near the $10,000 cost, every little bit will help. Thank you all so much for all the support and generosity in helping me reach my goal!

I would like to thank you all for your thoughtful donations. Your contribution will help me get to Europe and achieve my goal of top 10 at the European championships. I have been training up in Auckland every weekend with the top 30 sailors in New Zealand. I am getting a lot of coaching and my performance has improved a lot.
