"One bag of rice" - supporting children with special needs

$480 of $2,000 goal
Given by 10 generous donors in over a year

Please consider donating the cost of one bag of rice at $40NZD. If you want to support more that's great.

Nationwide

Please watch video above (approx 2 mins)

Rwanda has many schools and centres that support children with a range of special needs. Since our visit as a family July last year, we have remained in contact with several of the centres and this project is to raise enough money to support initially one centre with at least 6 months supply of rice. If the goal is exceeded, the funds raised will be passed to other centres in Rwanda also supporting children with special needs that we are also on contact with.

1 bag of rice

* cost is $40NZD

* 25KG

* will be purchased locally

* will be stored by the centre

* will provide approx 5 days worth of supply for 30-35 children

Gallery also has some additional photos.

Kerry and Louise Frame's involvement (page creator)

We have been involved with Rwanda for 16 years. From our visit as a family last year in July, we saw the need to help children in special need schools with basic costs.

Use of funds

All money raised will be sent directly to the centre.
