Hi, I’m Jane, a proud mum, a dedicated employee of the New Zealand Police and a passionate dragon boater for 9 years. It’s been an incredible journey filled with early mornings, tough training sessions, and an amazing community.
After a nationwide selection process, I was fortunate to be chosen to represent New Zealand at my very first Dragon Boat World Championship, taking place in Berlin, Germany in July! This isn’t just about participation, I’m aiming for the podium, and I’m training hard to get there.
Alongside dragon boating, I stay competition-ready through CrossFit and stand-up paddle boarding, building strength, endurance, and focus every day, all while balancing work and family life.

Getting to Berlin is a huge opportunity, but it comes with big costs. Your support will help cover travel and accommodation for the championship in Berlin.

Use of funds
It’s costing each athlete $7,000 minimum to attend. All donations will help cover the cost of accomodation, flights and transport to and from the race venue.

I just want to say a huge thank you both to those who donated online and who supported me in person. Your generosity has been incredible! Thanks to you, I’ve been able to:

✅ Manage all the extra expenses that come with competing overseas.
