We provide support and encouragement to parents and caregivers (primarily mothers) in hospital with their sick child.

One Mother to Another is an award-winning charity which provides support and reassurance, to parents and caregivers (primarily mothers) in hospital with their sick child.
We provide care packages to mums and carers across 7 wards in 4 South Island hospitals and to 1 community organisation. Our aim is to provide comfort and support in a particularly vulnerable time.
We also provide 135 extra care packages at Christmas for those in hospital on such a festive day. Each one costs us $20. We'd love you to partner with us this Christmas and sponsor one (or a bunch) of these gift bags.
We can only imagine how difficult it is to be separated from family and loved ones in hospital on Christmas Day and going through such a stressful season so please help us provide a bit of Christmas cheer.

We provide care packages to mums and carers across 7 wards in 4 hospitals and to 1 community organisation in Aotearoa. Our aim is to comfort and support mums and carers in a particularly vulnerable time.
Use of funds
We are providing 135 extra care packages for the parents in hospital with their child on Christmas Day in 7 hospital wards in the South Island.
