Onwards, Upwards and Outward Bound...
Please help us to make Maia's Outward Bound dream a reality!

Our lovely 16 year old Maia has recently been offered an amazing opportunity to take part in a 21 day prestigious program run by Outward Bound in the South Island.
Whilst her $6000 scholarship fully covers the cost of the course, we still need to find a way to cover associated travel, (fuel and flights,) whatever equipment she might need and any associated medical clearance costs.
Where there is a will, there is a way.
Please help me to help Maia's dream come true!
Those of you who know Maia, already know that she's worth investing in. She's kind, driven, intelligent, empathic, quitky and funny with plenty of leadership potential and a bright, brilliant future.
Funds are incredibly tight in her sole parent household and we understand they're tight everywhere, but if you can spare even $1 or a share, it brings us $1 closer and a few viewers closer to getting her Outward Bound.
I'm thanking you in advance for your generosity and low key believe that you'll be bragging one day about how you helped Doctor or Captain or Ambassador Maia Trickey attend her very 1st Outward Bound Adventure!

Flights Booked! Pic for attention... 6 May 2025
To all of our beloved donors, the flights to Blenheim from Auckland have been booked, Maia's medical examination is this Friday and time is thrusting us forward to Maia's adventure start date.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for your generosity. Being able to purchase flight tickets without having to stress about putting our family into financial hardship has been an incredible blessing.
And even looking at her gear list is nowhere near as daunting as it would have been without your support. We were even able to splash out and get traveler's insurance for mum's peace of mind!

Bursting is definitely the word for the level of pride and awe I have for Maia. I still shudder inwardly when I think of what I was doing at her age... definitely not getting selected for Outward Bound! We're both so grateful for your continuous love and support over the decades. Love to you both x
