Oreo Bunny's Vet Bills

One afternoon recently we found Oreo with a nasty looking bulging eye. She was rushed to the vet. The vet assumed she had an absess behind her eye so she was operated on. It was found this wasn't the case but she had a nasty scratch on the third eyelid and cornea. Her eyelids were stitched together (her eyeball is bulging too much for her to close her eye) and she was given antibiotics. Sadly her treatment hasn't worked and she needs x-rays and another operation, she has been referred to a small animal specialist in Wellington for this. However we do not have the funds for further vet treatment. All donations will be going towards paying for any further vet treatment for Oreo. First of all this will be more antibiotics, a consultation with the small animal vet in Kelburn, Wellington. Then xrays to find out the cause of Oreo's bulging eye and an operation to fix the problem. This could be tooth extraction or eye removal. An exact figure is unknown at the moment as we are unsure what will need to be done.
