Open heart surgery
Georgia Alosio needs to have open heart surgery because she has Atrial Ventricular Septal Defect

On the 14th of April 2021 our much loved Georgia was diagnosed with Atrial Septal Defect! It essentially means she has a hole in her heart, which requires open heart surgery in a few months time. This was a big shock to the family as the news was unexpected!
As a family we will travel to starship hospital and stay up there for 2-3 weeks if recovery all goes well :) Thank you for your support, prayers will be much appreciated ❤️
Quick update: Georgia’s diagnosis has changed the Doctors actually said she has Atrial Ventricular Septal Defect, which means she has 2 holes in her heart. Thank you so much for everything.

I’m a mother of four beautiful children, Georgia is my youngest.
Use of funds
We have 4 wonderful children, our house is very busy. My husband Petelo is a full time nursing student and i only work part-time, the funds would be used on flights, petrol and for Georgia’s siblings to be able to come and see her.

Surgery Day ❤️ 14 October 2021
We are a few hours away from surgery. We are nervous and excited for Georgia. She will be able to live like a normal teenager. The Starship Team have been amazing! They have guided us through this difficult and challenging time! We are thankful to everyone. 🙏Our family once again are so very thankful to everyone who has supported us through this long and stressful journey 💕 God Bless.
