“Operation: Make Sydney Heart-y Again!”

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who has donated so far, we’ve been able to take important steps toward getting Sydney the care he needs. While we haven’t been able to raise enough to cover the private surgery, Sydney is now preparing for public surgery and the following stage: recovery.

Once his tricuspid valve repair is scheduled and completed, Sydney will need around six weeks off work to heal and regain his strength. This time is crucial for his long-term health, but it also means a significant financial strain for him and his family.

We’re now fundraising to support Sydney when he goes through the recovery period—helping cover living costs while he focuses on healing, so he can get back to being the larger-than-life dad, stepdad, partner, and friend we all know and love.
