Phoebe the cockatiel needs an operation

Phoebe is a loving little girl, and a cherished family member. She is currently wearing a collar to stop her picking at the lesion on her back. The operation to remove the lesion will be about $700 dollars, which I sadly do not have. She is a young, happy, dear little soul, who wolf whistles, whistles "If you're happy and you know it" and says peek-a-boo. She also loves to have her ears and head rubbed. But most importantly she just loves human contact, as you can see in the gallery pictures.

It would break my heart to lose Phoebe, but without the operation that may be the outcome.
