Help get me to World Games 2022

Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui

Hi, my name is Joshua Vivian and I have recently been named in the most elite Men’s Canoe Polo team New Zealand has to offer and we are hopefully making our debut on the world stage at the Canoe polo World Game’s in Alabama this July. Globally COVID-19 has transformed the way high level sport has been able to run – over the last few years this competition has been cancelled and postponed in light of many countries being unable to travel overseas. This makes this year’s competition in America even more phenomenal as it’s the first step towards ‘the new normal’ and I am so excited to be a part of it.

I am so grateful to be competing on the World stage with the best each country has to offer, and I'm very thankful for any contribution to this.

I hope that if I am to get to World games – donors will too share in the success of the New Zealand Paddle Black’s team.

Use of funds

The money fundraised will be to cover 10 days accommodation, flights, food, uniform, equipment and transport over there.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
