Natasha's family dog Oscar got hit by a car and needs a $6000 surgery to save his leg
Hawke's Bay
A few months ago, Natasha and her family lost their beloved family dog, Tonka, after he had been in their family for 10 years, to cancer. The family then rescued Oscar, a beautiful husky/mastiff who has become their new baby. Last night Oscar was hit by a car (that didn't stop!), and he now needs surgery or the vet will have to amputate his whole leg.
After the family's grief of losing Tonka, I would like to help the family raise some if the cost of Oscar's surgery so he doesn't lose his leg
Natasha is my boss, the very best boss I have ever had & an absolute genuine, caring, loving person
All funds raised will go towards Oscar's vet bills
Surgery 28 June 2018
Oscar finally had surgery yesterday. He was supposed to have it on Tuesday but his doggy orthopedic surgeon ended up in hospital himself on monday night! So after transferring to another vet that felt confident in doing the surgery, Oscar went under the knife yesterday about lunchtime. Craig & Tash both agreed that if the surgeon got in and decided that he couldn't fix Oscar's leg, he could amputate.....but he fixed it!!! Oscar is full of licks & has an extremely waggy tail today, recovering slowly but well. Tash, Craig & Max also wanted me to say a massive thank you to all that have donated so far - they are 100% blown away by the generosity from everyone.
