    WoW! You raised an amazing $4,800.00. And we had fun doing it! A huge thanks to our Quiz Master Andy and Auctioneer Angus. Danke, Danke, Danke to Helen, Aynsley and Caro for all their help. And for all the donors - muchos gracios. Kia ora to Lisa Tui for her beautiful music. And thank you - to all of you who came along and made it a great night. So we have reached our Total Target of $24,000.00 - words fail me at this point - xxx Thank You

  • Fundraising concert extraordinaire

    Thanks Wolfi, Graham Wardrop , Bina, Manfred, Vanissa Robson , Svenja Munz and Max Koller, and of course all the people who came. It was a great concert and fundraiser with $1600 given by the 60 or so people who came, which meant people were being very generous.   • Thanks again and here's why we are going

    Thanks everyone for all the generous donations; we are getting closer with close to $12,000 raised including donations external to Givealittle. Here's Ali with the backstory to this project which helps give an understanding of the motivation behind the project. Ali has been doing an extended version of this story as a presentation to various community groups around Christchurch and getting a great response. Please diary 10th April 7pm for a Quiz Night fundraiser at the Cashmere Club. Should be a humdinger so watch this space.

    Wow - 2 weeks ago we received an incredibly generous private donation. We are bowled over by the generosity. Thank you to all of you for being so generous and getting involved in this project. The flights are now paid for and we are now nearly half way towards paying for the trip. (Because the donation came to us privately it won't show up on Givealittle.)

  • Love is....on track.

    LOVE According to Oskar last night; ‘Love is being able to go to beautiful places with my charming Ali.’ Aaww

    GIVING Yay, we’ve reached 10% of our target. Thank you everyone who has already been able to give a little. Maybe a donation to Oskar’s give a little page could be on your Christmas list.

    LIKING & SHARING Yes please. On your facebook page is great and then when we get to Israel and start the therapy there will be videos links via email and the facebook page.

    OPPORTUNITY The friend who was going to come to Israel to support Ali and Oskar and attend the training has had her school hours reduced and is probably not able to come. The upside is there’s now a great opportunity for someone to go to Israel with Ali and Oskar. Anyone working with learning or intellectual disability but also dementia and brain injury would really benefit. Great way to learn a fabulous skill set. Message us if you want to know more
