Help send Otago's first Wheelchair Rugby team to the 2020 Championships!
Otago
Over the past few years Wheelchair Rugby has become increasingly popular in Dunedin. For the past two seasons, a few of our players have combined with Canterbury to compete in the New Zealand Wheelchair Rugby Championships and gain skills and experience.
However, this year we are hoping to send our FIRST EVER Otago team to the championships!
There are three rounds, held over three weekends.
Round 1 - Bay of Plenty
Round 2 - Manawatu
Round 3 - Auckland
The majority of our players being physically unable to work, and with increased costs of transporting wheelchairs and equipment, as well as general day to day life, we would greatly appreciate any donations you are able to give.
Even if you are not in a position to donate it would be a great help if you could share and spread the word!
ParaFed Otago is the leading sport and recreation organisation in the region for those with a physical disability. We offer quality sport and recreational services, facilities, and equipment for people with physical disabilities.
The money will be spent on travel and accommodation to get the Otago Wheelchair Rugby team to tournaments. Any surplus, or if things don't go to plan, funds will be used on equipment to help our team progress and train or will go to ParaFed Otago.
