Help our mums vision come back to normal 🤍
Pukekohe, Auckland
Kia Ora everyone 🤍
This isn’t a place our whānau expected to be at this trying time. Our mum is quite private when it comes to personal issues and doesn’t like anyone to know what’s happening in her/our whānau life. We try as a whānau to sort problems on our own. However this time we are stuck.
Our mum, wife, nana Constance Macpherson, hard working and still working with her diagnosis, the lady who never asks for anything, who always helps our whānau and many extended whānau through tough times and tangihana without hesitation, has been diagnosed with a cataract in her left eye which can lead to permanent loss of vision very soon. Mum has worn glasses for awhile now thinking it was because of being short sighted, but had a little scare where she lost complete vision in her left eye which led to a doctors appointment and the diagnosis. We are all devastated with the news
Our mum has so many grandchildren that love and adore her and would hate to see her lose her eye sight especially with two great grandchildren due this year.
We as a whānau are asking for help with the cost of her surgery which costs between $5800 - $7000 and any aftercare needed. We will appreciate any words of support or donation given with love and sincerity 🤍
We hope she gets the surgery she needs so she can keep living her life with clear vision, keep being the awesome wife, mum, nana and continue to be the hardworking lady she loves to be.
From our whānau to yours, we thank you for just reading her story🤍
My name is Kirstin and I am the second eldest of four children to our beautiful mum.
All donations will be used for mums surgery, medical care/bills, transportation to and from surgery and any aftercare needed.

Morning Everyone
Arohamai for the late reply’s & updates. Firstly thank you all for your kind hearts, donations & sending well wishes. Mum has been so overwhelmed with everyone’s support. Her weeks been a roller coaster of emotions. But great news mum has progressed to the first step of surgery and that’s by getting her pre-surgery assessment sorted. Once this is done we will update again with her surgery date.
