    Kiaora Whanau & Friends,

We wanted to share an important update:

We have been blessed with a donor for Noah’s Bone Marrow Transplant happening this month.

After all the testing, preparation, and planning, the medical team has given the green light. It’s a big step, but one we’ve been working towards with hope and determination.

The next phase will involve close monitoring, treatment, and rest.

We would like to take this time to focus all our energy on our boy as he faces this next part of intensive treatment.

All the strength, courage & loads of aroha and healing for you Noah❤️‍🩹

We are grateful to share some good news - a suitable bone marrow donor has been found.

This is a big step forward, this marks an important milestone in the treatment process for Noah.

The next stage involves working closely with the medical team to prepare for the procedure over the coming weeks. It’s a careful and closely monitored process, and the medical team will be with us every step of the way.

Thank you to everyone for your continued prayers, love & support.

    Thank you Nic & Troy

    Kia Ora Whanau & Friends,

Not much to update this week, Noah is still having 3 appointments a week for his checkups and top ups. We are still in the waiting game for his bone marrow transplant.

    One day at a time.

    Kia Ora,

    Update 29th September

Noah has 3 day visits a week for treatment and today he had another top up of Platelets.

The most significant development is that preparations for a bone marrow transplant are now underway. We’re currently in the donor matching phase — a delicate process that takes time and precision. There’s cautious optimism, and we’re hopeful a suitable donor will be confirmed soon.

Behind the scenes, your generosity has helped us immensely. We are able to stay by Noah’s side — we couldn’t do this without you. We’ve read every message, every comment, and felt every bit of love you’ve sent our way. The kai parcels & drop offs have all been amazing, the support has really shown us what kind of person Noah represents himself in our communities. (Message from Nic & Troy)

Our boy is walking most days, and moving his Tinana (body) in the home gym. Eating well, as he is on a strict diet, he is still feeling fatigue and exhaustion but still manages his days well.

Noah has had a busy week, he is currently dependent of Blood & Platelets transfusions.

Today he is having his 3rd round of PNH treatment.

Surrounded by a team of doctors & nurses who have been a supportive strength to us.

We are still in the process of waiting for bone marrow transplant.

Noah Continues to show determination and courage and takes things all in his Stride. He is still moving his body with walking the dog and having light workouts in his home gym. Proud as boy.!

Our boy is showing so much resilience an incredible strength, he is teaching us all about these important moments in life.

Update: Tuesday 9th September Noah was allowed to go home under strict hospital guidance. After 3weeks in hospital, he will do PNH treatment every Friday at Auckland hospital, Monday & Wednesday blood or platelets transfusion and check ups.

We are still waiting on results for Bone marrow transplant.

Noah is setting goals while getting treatment, walking on treadmill & going on the bike at the hospital gym keeping his body moving is so good for him.

    Lots of resting, and sleeping.

Please be respectful and mindful of Noah & whanau as Noah has no immune system so please stay away if you are sick.

Our boy is so patient, calm and inspiring 🙏

Our blessings have been answered, Our boys PNH treatment has been accepted by Pharmac today, we are so so blessed. They are moving pretty fast and are going to be starting that now.

Funds raised will now go towards Noah & his Whanau for medical related costs and to help support them with the uncertainty of his mum & dad going back to work during this difficult time.

Thank you for the on going Aroha

    Friday 5th September

Our Boy has had a big week, he has settled into the hospital and has everything he needs.

Update: we are waiting on pharmac to give the green light on the right medication he needs which we have been told it is very expensive. (Why is there a price on helping someone) the medication is for his PNH. He also has still been having Blood transfusions & platelet transfusions to keep him at bay but we really need this PNH medication.! Before any other steps we need this first.

Each day at a time as these things take time,

Nic & Troy have been doing such an amazing Job with keeping our boy comfortable.

We will give another update next week.
