What a whirlwind month it has been.
Dad has smashed through the barriers and every day moving mountains.
The visitors, the messages, the love , the awhi, all bloody brilliant in helping him get better.

Dad had a good night. Has been for a x-ray of his chest.
Hopefully get to see someone about rehab plan in the next few days.
It is official dad has been transferred to Gisborne.
He is still very ill and weak but is in good spirits.
He is hitting small milestones everyday and making the most of every moment.
Please feel free to visit dad he is in ward 5 but can we just please ask if you are not feeling well or have a cough to wait until you are 100% as he is very susceptible to infection. He is in isolation but allowed visitors. He is in a single room so can pretty much have as many visitors as he wants.
Seeing whanau has been an integral part of his recovery so don't be shy hehehe....
He arrived this afternoon and the nurses have been amazeballs.

Dad had a great night last night. No dramas - so that was a first. His blood pressure heart rate and oxygen levels were stable throughout the whole night.
He has some movement in his limbs after the Drs told us to expect there to be no movement or very little.
He has not been left alone a any time during this ordeal and our whanau are very thankful to you all for your well wishes and messages.
He has a couple of important tests today which will help with the next step to hopefully eventually getting him home as well as he can be.
The odds were heavilliy stacked against him so it shows its always a great idea to still have a crack at life once more!
