Our dear friend needs some help

Our dear friend and colleague Penny has been extremely sick for the past couple of months which originated from Covid. She has spent a couple weeks in ICU and has now been left bedridden at home still fighting multiple infections and an inflamed heart months later. Her time off work is unknown and she cannot get funding because on paper she still has a job. As a result her poor family have been left to scrape together what they can to pay for bills but they are now facing losing their rental as they are running out of funds and they have nowhere else to go.

The funds raised will go towards helping her, her fiancé and child stay in their home, pay for everyday costs such as food, power, petrol, internet etc, any school related costs and any health expenses accrued from the sickness.
