As some of you may have seen earlier in the year a post about our little girl Wiki Biddle-Nathan searching for a liver. We were lucky enough to have one donated by some lovely family and Wiki had a successful transplant on the 2th of July 2022. However, fast forward a few months and our Wiki is in Pediatric ICU at Starship hospital.
She had emergency surgery on 21st of November as her belly was very bloated. They found and repaired 11 holes in her bowel.
She has PTLD (Post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder) which means she also has cancer which is sitting around her bowels.
At this stage they could be in Starship for up to 4-6 months and this will be very much down to how Wiki responds to the treatments.
