Please help us with the costs of our goodest boy Rambo's vet care/surgery after he was hit by a car.
Auckland
Our beautiful pitty-lab cross Rambo Schlambo Lauano (legal name) was hit by a car on May 15th and his back left leg broke pretty badly. Now while Ramby may think he's human, he isn't... and thus he cannot benefit from our free healthcare system in NZ.
We are a poor family (and his insurance lapsed because we didn't realise the policy didn't cover pittys) however what we lack in finances we make up for in love.
Unfortunately love can't afford to pay for Rambo's operations/veterinary care costs.
Rambo needs either pinning or, failing that, amputation. Both procedures are pricey but imperative in order to improve his quality of life.
Please know that any donation will not only be appreciated but will go towards helping the goodest boy get back to being the happiest goodest boy there ever was.
Fa'afetai lava ma ia manuia (thank you and well wishes). God bless❤
Rambo is part of the family, he's our furbaby and we love him very much. He loves and protects each of us humans unconditionally and it breaks our hearts to not be able to afford vet care for him after he was hit by a car.
The money will go towards the cost of Rambo's care, from either a pinning operation or possible amputation, to vet fees and medication.
Our Rambo is out of surgery! 18 May 2019
It went really well, I just got off the phone with the amazing team at Mangere Vet Clinic & Onehunga Vet and Pet Supplies who've done a brilliant job of fixing up our Ramby.
The cost of the surgery comes to $1,271.60 so we are very much on track to getting it together and getting him home. Some update pics from the vets 😭🙌 thanks again to every who has donated or shared, it means the world to us and of course to our Rambo (though he may not show it, unless you have treats).
Much alofas from us and Rambo💕
