Our tripod dog needs surgery

Our 3 legged doggo needs your help for surgery on her back leg so she can walk again.

Waikato

We need help to pay for life saving surgery for our beloved tripod dog, patch. Patch is 3 legged dog as a result of her abusive and traumatic past, From the abuse she suffered her hind leg was so badly damaged and fractured in multiple places that amputation was her only option for a quality of life.

The down fall from losing her hind leg and being a tripod dog has ment that the remaining leg has carried 40% of her body weight instead of the normal 20% for the last few years. Over time this has caused damage in the knee joint resulting in a cruciate ligament (muscle pulling away and no longer supporting the moving joint) injury, and the only treatment option for this injury is surgery, the surgery will be a long term fix but comes at an estimated price of $3500 plus recovery.

We are wanting to fund raise any amount to go towards patch’s surgery so she can continue to live a good happy 3 legged life. Anything extra raised will go towards her recovery.

Use of funds

all funds will go towards a surgery thats a long term fix for her so she can walk again.
