Levi and Rochelle went up to Starship on the 21st March for Levi's second round of chemo. He had 1 scan and the doctors could see that a tumor had already decreased a bit which was awesome news to hear!

He took his second lot of chemo well and again just played with his cars and slept through most of it.

Doctors have said he will have a full body MRI and CT scan on his fourth round of chemo to see how everything is progressing so we have our fingers crossed for that!

I honestly cant believe how well he is taking this whole situation. Every time I see him, he is still his happy bubbly self wanting to show me all his toys and making sure I know all his trucks are just like his Daddys (lol). He loves to show off his stickers he gets after his injection.

Unfortunately this will be my last update as this page closes at the end of the month.

The Gunn and Ryan family just want to extend their greatest thanks to everyone who has donated these past few months. From donations on this page, to the sausage sizzle which was held at New World, to selling baking, to bringing around food and all the supportive messages to us, they have helped out so much! Its amazing to know how many people care and are generous enough to open their wallets to help out our family.

It is still going to be a long road ahead with not knowing how long chemo will go for but we are just thankful that it was detected when it was and Levi is getting the help that he needs. Outlook is positive :)

A lot has happened since my last update on Levi.

Firstly the results came back from the biopsy. Levis tumor is called a yolk sac tumor which is very rare but is common in little boys.

Surgeons were very relieved as it was not as bad as they had expected and also they have said it is CURABLE!! which has been a huge relief to all of us.

Unfortunately that relief was short lived as doctors did a full body MRI and came across more tumors in his body :( One was discovered in his head but it has not affected his brain, one in his stomach area and a few on his knee. This broke us all, but surgeons said that they are all the same kind of cancer so still curable but maybe a longer road of chemo.

Levi did very well in his first sessions of chemo. Took it like a champ just staying on his bed playing with his cars and having sleeps. He has been so brave!

The good news is they have finally got to come home. Levis treatment plan is he can come home for 20 days then back up to Starship for 3 days for chemo and so on. They are all very happy to be home and are relaxed. Levi couldn't wait to get into his car bed again!

Rochelle has to be off work to look after Levi and take him to starship for his treatment so wont be returning to work for a while yet, probably not for the rest of the year. This will be a struggle financially so anymore donations will be hugely appreciated.

A huge thank you again from our families to all of you that have donated. Its amazing to know how many generous and caring people are out there.

For those of you following Levis journey here's an update.

Levi starts chemo today (29/2/16). We have no results back from the biopsy as of yet but we are all thinking positive. Levi came down with a temperature on the weekend but pamol was able to bring that down, He enjoyed all the visitors he had over the weekend.

Mr Levi has all the nurses and doctors under his thumb that's for sure, only telling them when hes ready for them to check his obs. Its hiliarious!

I will post updates when I can :)

A huge thank you to all of you that have donated so far! Rochelle and Brent are overwhelmed with your generosity!
