Our Little Solider Levi fighting Cancer

Levi is a 2 year old little boy who was healthy and active and always lit up the room with his smile and laughter.

On the 22nd February he was taken to Rotorua Hospital and doctors said he has fluid on his lungs so then he was transferred to Waikato Hospital. he was put on antibiotics but after scans doctors had found a lump on his liver which was pushing up on his lung so he was then transferred to Starship Hospital for more tests.

On the 24th February Levi and his families lives were turned upside down with a positive result that the lump was cancer.

It was sad to see this active, healthy boy confined to his bed because running around and playing left him coughing and short of breath.

On the 25th February Levi went into theatre for a biopsy and to put a port into one of his veins for when his chemotherapy will begin.

So with this all happening Levis parents - Rochelle and Brent, are up in Starship Hospital next to his bedside waiting to see what the plan is for Levi and his treatment, so they both are away from work and are not sure when they will return to their home and jobs.

With all kinds of bills mounting up I decided to make this page for people who are wanting to make a donation to help take the stress away from Rochelle and Brent and help them feel relaxed while looking after their son. We all know how stressful money situations can be!

To make things harder Rochelle is recovering from major surgery herself so we want her to have the strength she needs to be there for Levi.

Also Levi has a 4 year old sister - Savannah, who will be starting school in April, so there is a lot going on!

Your donations will help Rochelle and Brent pay their rent, power bills, travel to and from Starship, Levis treatment, also helping to get Savannah ready for school.
