Owen and Jacquie have not had a fair run in life and recently Owen almost died from multiple heart attacks, rendering him unable to work.

For those lucky enough to have met Owen will know you only have to talk to him to instantly like him. He is warm, inspirational and extremely positive. As I got to know him and his three children better I learned more about the struggles his family had been through and to use the word horrific would be an understatement. But with Owen's determination and hard work he has moved on as a solo dad doing his best for his kids as their only guardian. Unfortunately he had a heart attack one night early this year and his 7 year old had to call the ambulance and wait with her terrified siblings as he had actually died but was revived with defibrillators. This cost him his job as a truck driver and caused ongoing health issues.
Then along came Jacquie, a solo mum of four who united their families and offered a happy ever after that they both so deserved. Recently Owen had a major heart attack that took 7 minutes to revive him from and this was followed by several more the following morning in hospital, causing him to flatline multiple times. After urgent surgery to install a pacemaker there were initial problems and scares but now things are moving in a positive direction so he will be leaving hospital in a while to move in with Jacquie for her to care for him while he recovers. Thankfully Jacquie shares the care of her own children with their father but it does mean that when they are with her there will be a total of seven children in the house and all the expenses that go with it. Not to mention the recent exorbitant costs of driving from Silverdale to the hospital each day and parking etc...
Jacquie is a phenomenal woman to have taken this on and she blows me away with how amazing she is and I want to offer as much support for her and Owen and their family as possible. Please consider donating to this cause, even if it's only $1 it all adds up and is greatly appreciated.
I am a friend of Jacquie and Owen's, originally because my daughter is in Owen's daughter's class and when I heard about Owen's health issues and lack of a support network I wanted to help.
Any funds raised will go towards the cost of his recovery and the care of their 7 children from their combined family.
