Get Abby to Pacific Project 2017
I have been selected to represent New Zealand with the UNYOUTH on an educational trip to Australia and Vanuatu.

Kia Ora! My name is Abby Robinson, and I have been selected as a delegate to represent New Zealand on the United Nations Pacific Project.
Ten delegates have been selected from New Zealand, and I have been lucky enough to be chosen as one. I will be travelling to Australia, staying in Perth for 9 days to attend the Australia National UN Youth conference. During this leg of the trip I will attend workshops, debate world issues, interact with influential world leaders, and meet with like minded people.
From Perth I will travel to Vanuatu, staying for over 6 days learning about New Zealand and our interactions with the Pacific. I will be able to fully immerse myself in a totally new culture through volunteering, school trips, and will have the chance to exchange culture with the local community.
I know that I want to make a difference in the world, and this trip will provide invaluable experience to allow me to make this happen.
In order to make all of this happen, I need to raise $5200. Your support is nothing short of appreciated.

I have always been passionate about both politics, world affairs and education. This trip is the perfect combination of all 3, allowing me to learn first hand. Not only do I want to broaden my own knowledge on the topic, but I want to come back to my community and educate others on the Pacific. I want to show that coming from a small town provides no limitation to what you can achieve.
Use of funds
The funds raised will cover flights, transfers, travel insurance, accomodation, food, and registration fees.

It is now only 20 days until I depart on my journey, and I am so excited! Thank you so much for all of your donations and kind messages. It feels like it was only yesterday when I received the news that I had been selected to represent New Zealand. Time has flown by so quick!
