Paige MacDonald, NZFW 2018 Emerging Designer

$793 donated
Given by 16 generous donors in around 6 months

We need your support to get her to #NZFW2018, and to continue to develop her collection, find her feet, & break into the fashion industry.

Manawatu / Whanganui

Paige has been selected as an Emerging Designer to show her new collection at New Zealand Fashion week in August/September 2018 in Auckland.

She has also showed at Mirimoda in Wellington and was selected as a finalist from 14 short listed designers.

She is in her Third Year at UCOL Whanganui, studying Bachelor of Arts and Design, majoring in Fashion, and is the only student from her UCOL to be chosen to show at NZFW 2018.

Paige has also been an integral part of the fundraising efforts of Hospice, and redesigned the Wedding dress titled "Flora" for the 2018 Hospice Fundraising project as a student at UCOL. This is currently available via TradeMe with all proceeds going to Hospice.

Paige has been passionate about fashion and design from a very young age, starting out as a creative and skilled seamstress at Intermediate, to become an extremely talented and hardworking 20 year old designer with a promising future ahead of her.

The collection she is developing unfortunately cannot be revealed here until after it has gone on the runway in August in Auckland at #NZFW2018, however, her signature look can be seen on the Mirimoda Facebook page from the runway show in July 2018.

Latest update

Less than TWO weeks to go!!  16 August 2018

Paige is 10 days away from catching her bus to Auckland to prepare, finalise and be wowed by everything going on at Auckland Viaduct for NZFW, for her runway show.

She has purchased all of her fabrics and accessories, and is in the final stages of her designs.

We would like to help her get further along than she is, at present all of the donated ( and loaned) funds have been spent,so once again we ask for people to dig deep and help her out.

Paige has purchased a mannequin (adjustable) and has been loaned a selection of shoes for the runway show, but still has to pay courier and travel costs. Her business cards are Beautiful!

She is a very determined and talented girl and we need the world to stand up and take notice, and to back her as much as we possibly can.

Donations received thus far are so humbly appreciated.

Many thanks, and we look forward to hearing from you all soon.
