A Mother Lost, Six Children Left Behind

  • Holiday & Final Update

      20 December 2025

First off, I would like to once again thank every single person who has supported us in any way throughout our darkest days. Your kindness has carried us further than you know.

Pamela’s parents now have the children in their care, providing them with the safety and stability they deserve.

Since in the care of their Grandparents ALL six of Pamela’s children have been placed into therapy, giving them space to begin their healing and grieving journeys.

This year has been a huge adjustment, not only for the children but for Pamela’s entire whānau. We are now facing our first holiday season without her light, and although the future is uncertain, we will continue to stand together, love these children, and guide them forward.

In the new year, Pamela’s whānau will be submitting a new HDC complaint. Pamela’s 'husband' withdrew the previous one under the belief that he could sue the hospital.

Our intention has never been financial gain, we simply want/need answers. Pamela's whānau need clarity about what truly happened to our beautiful Pamela.

We want to prevent other families from EVER experiencing this kind of loss!

Wishing everyone a peaceful holiday season. Please stay safe, and thank you again for holding us in your thoughts 💜🫂

    Mōrena!

Today i leave for LA to pick up some gifts that were so kindly provided by some friends of mine. The selfless act of everyone who has donated here or in person has not gone unseen.

If we havent said already, On behalf of my Whānau THANK YOU!

We are still fighting for Pamela's story to be the last, an updated article will be out sometime next week.

    Ngā mihi!

  • The first birthday without Pamela

      2 July 2025
    Main image

Yesterday we celebrated Pamela's fourth child's 9th birthday. Back in April Pamela had designed & paid for the cake in advance.

Pamela was a mother who planned thess events in advance to make sure her children had special days & yesterday was no different.

You can imagine how heartbreaking it was for us to find out & know this will be Pamela's final gift for any of her children. 🫶🏾💔

  • Quick Progress Update

      24 June 2025

The Whānau met with senior members of AKL Hospital Wed 18th June. No clear answers were given to us (again).

The Whānau have spoken with a lawyer to help prepare the next steps before the next follow-up Hui with Akl Hospital in another 6-8weeks.

We truly appreciate your support during this time.

    Thank You.
