Friends of Pamelas family created this page for support during this heartbreaking time as we fight for answers for our sisters death.
Kelston, Auckland
Our beloved sister Pamela tragically passed away, leaving behind six children. She was discharged from the hospital twice and was sadly misdiagnosed. On her final visit, struggling to breathe, hospital 'tried' to sedate Pamela to help her breathe— just 15 minutes later, she was gone. Her children never had the chance to say goodbye they were her entire world.
We are still awaiting on findings report to understand exactly what happened so we can proceed with an HDC complaint to hold those accountable.
Pamela’s children—Joshua (6), Pamela (7, turning 8 in October), Losiana (8, turning 9 in July), Serafina (15), Esther (20), and Heather (21)—are now left without their mother.
I’m one of Pamela’s four siblings, friends created this page for support during this heartbreaking time as we fight for answers for our sisters death.
The money raised will go towards covering Pamela’s funeral expenses and providing financial support for her younger children, helping with essentials like food, clothing, school needs, and ongoing care as they adjust to life without their mum.
Holiday & Final Update 20 December 2025
First off, I would like to once again thank every single person who has supported us in any way throughout our darkest days. Your kindness has carried us further than you know.
Pamela’s parents now have the children in their care, providing them with the safety and stability they deserve.
Since in the care of their Grandparents ALL six of Pamela’s children have been placed into therapy, giving them space to begin their healing and grieving journeys.
This year has been a huge adjustment, not only for the children but for Pamela’s entire whānau. We are now facing our first holiday season without her light, and although the future is uncertain, we will continue to stand together, love these children, and guide them forward.
In the new year, Pamela’s whānau will be submitting a new HDC complaint. Pamela’s 'husband' withdrew the previous one under the belief that he could sue the hospital.
Our intention has never been financial gain, we simply want/need answers. Pamela's whānau need clarity about what truly happened to our beautiful Pamela.
We want to prevent other families from EVER experiencing this kind of loss!
Wishing everyone a peaceful holiday season. Please stay safe, and thank you again for holding us in your thoughts 💜🫂
