Para-Badminton Athlete, Chad Campbell needs your help to represent NZ at Bendigo Tournaments October 2025.
New Plymouth, Taranaki
Physical limitations of cerebral palsy prompted me to try racket sport, then commencing my Para-Badminton journey 15 months ago. I am now a member of the Taranaki Para Badminton and New Zealand Para Badminton Squads.
Badminton is my ‘happy place’. It is the ‘lifeline’ I desperately needed. It has given me a sense of purpose, belonging, confidence, friendships and a form of natural rehabilitation.
Despite challenges, and through rigorous training and unwavering dedication, I have been selected to represent New Zealand at the Victor Oceania Championships and the Australian Para-Badminton Internationals, to be held in Bendigo 16-25th October, 2025.
Please help kick start my career. Opportunities like this will further develop my skills, enabling me to reach my full potential. My personal long-term goal is to represent New Zealand at the Paralympics.
I know that with your support, I will inspire others to overcome challenges in sport and everyday life.
We are fundraising, however, donations are needed to reach our target. Your support means everything and I’ll be forever grateful. Thanks, Chad
The funds would go toward all Bendigo related costs, such as travel, accommodation and food, for both myself and a support person.
If I don’t reach my target, the funds will be used toward future Para-Badminton Tournaments.
Thanks so much, really appreciate it
