Pare = doorway gardian sign for Ngauteringaringa Community Nursery

Natanahira has acquired two large pieces of seasoned rimu from an anonymous donor for a relatively small donation. He then glued them together and has sketched out the design that incorporates a atua, a patiki (flounder), and a tūī, similar to the one in our RTH logo. This design came through several iterations with input from our team to Natanahira - the final carving with have considerable relieve including being carve through in some places.
