I have it on good authority that you & your wife own a multi million dollar property in dairy flat & are in no way short of money.. My question to you is way are you preying on generous peoples donations to get you and your family too italy when in fact you could afford to pay for this trip without donations?

Thank you for your question.
Yes we have a family property in Dairy Flat, but you have been misinformed about our circumstances.
Anybody who knows us as well as you have indicated would be aware of the of the massive financial and emotional struggle over the last 8 yrs since Paul's accident.
The only Income we have is Paul's disability payments from ACC and my income from my job, as Pauls caregiver.
We have done as much as we can to fund this trip and any money that is donated is being used to help with the extra costs associated with taking a paralized person overseas.
The people who have so generously donated are either friends or supporters those from the Bike Racing circuit. Who are right behind Paul , and know of the huge effort we have put into getting Paul to Italy.
We are not preying on people. We are hugely thankful to those who have donated.
