Fundraising for cancer treatment Pertuzumab (Perjeta) that is not publicly funded .

So the big C has barged into our lives uninvited like that one relative who “just popped in” and stays way too long. Mums tackling it like an absolute champ (because of course she is), but unfortunately not all the treatments she needs are funded.
Now, Mum’s the kind of person who would never ask for help—she’d rather climb a mountain barefoot carrying a sack of potatoes than inconvenience anyone—but we know not everyone knows how to help in situations like this. So we’ve set up a Givealittle page for anyone who’d like to chip in and help cover the treatments that could make a big difference.
No pressure, no guilt trips—just a way to get behind someone who’s spent her life quietly helping others. Every donation, message and bit of support big or small means more than we could ever say and it is one more step towards telling cancer to pack its bags and get lost.
The beneficiary is our Mum
Cancer Treatment Pertuzumab (Perjeta)
Thank you 6 November 2025
Thank you all so very much for your generosity, kind words and support through these last couple of months. Thanks to you all we have managed to raise the funds required to cover the cost of Mums (Paula's) Treatment.
Mum has had a rough couple of weeks as she has had a rear reaction to the Chemo that put her in hospital. She is now on the mend and we are hoping to have her home this weekend. Because of this reaction they are now stopping all remaining Chemo treatments, but it looks like it has been doing its job and we can now fast tract the remaining procedures. Thankfully the treatment that you have all helped fund is able to continue. Once again thank you everyone.
