The Peaceable Kin-dom is a no-kill sanctuary for stray and homeless cats and kittens - and we are celebrating five years of charitable status! Our volunteers work hard to socialise, feed, clean up after, snuggle, and play with all of our feline residents, until they are ready to find a permanent loving home. All of our cats get great healthcare which includes being de-sexed, microchipped, and de-wormed, plus countless homeopathic remedies for stress and grief-relief, and general well-being.
Because we are a charity, we survive solely on kind donations, we don't believe animals should be bought or sold. Consider gifting a birthday donation of any amount 🎁
About us
We are an animal rescue and sanctuary based in Golden Bay, South Island. We take in stray and feral cats, rehabilitate them and find them loving homes.
Use of funds
Every dollar donated helps to feed, microchip and de-sex cats and kittens. Money is also spent on vet bills for any unexpected sickness.

It's our 5th birthday! 25 February 2025
🥳 We became a registered charity 5 years ago, to celebrate we are hosting a few special events throughout March to raise funds for our ongoing work. Please consider donating a birthday present of any amount- it all goes towards helping, homing and healthcare for cats & kittens.
