Peace of mind for Toni

Very recently Toni was diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia, her specialist and doctors have informed Toni that with her long history of abnormal cells and due to a rampant family history of ovarian, breast and cervical cancers that a rapid hysterectomy is required to best improve her quality of life and mininmise the risk of her contracting cervical or ovarian cancer herself.

Just as Toni was coming to terms with and trying to get her head around what she had been told, she recieved her operation date and is now freaking out at the financial burden she, her husband and children are now facing with her having to take time off work.

Toni, unaware at the time, used the annual leave she did have to attend and support her childrens sports days and marching events and has no paid leave owing to her and is contemplating on backing out of the surgery even though it is in her best interest, because of the financial stress and pressure.

Toni and her husband have always been a two-income family but surgery means a drastic reduction in finances for the months she is needing off work.

At a time that she should be focused on her well being, survival and health, like always she is putting the well being of her family ahead of herself. All we want for her is to have the surgery and give her peace of mind that her financial obligations will be taken care of, that her children will be fed, family will be looked after and for her to be able to focus on her recovery
