Trying to raise some funds towards the $5000 plus veterinary bills and transportation home as unable to fly .
Canterbury
Peaches the Ibizan Hound was going from ChCh to Wellington to her new home , sadly the plane trip and change to her life was traumatic and she slipped her lead at her new owners gate in Wellington and spent the next 9 hours running round Wellington evading police , council and people - until she was hit by a car . Then after spending a night at after hours vet and then transferred to Pet Vets Lower Hutt for surgery and rest for several days, Peaches then had to get back to Timaru to her original home .
Friend who also has the same breed of dog , and the accident involving her dog has created huge vet bills
Money will be spent on veterinary bills

Firstly Christine would like to say a huge thank you to all the donors so far for their generosity. It is all very much appreciated.
Peaches has had her stitches removed and the wound site is looking good. She's a little reluctant to put weight on her leg, but a bit of physio and a few minutes walking each day will help with that.
She is doing very well accepting her confinement and has toys and chewies to keep her occupied.
