Donations for Peanuts surgery
We are raising funds for our cat Peanut who has a fractured hip and needs an operation.

Peanut came to us about 3 months ago as he was caught in a trap and had no home, he was quite ill when he arrived and suffered with a respitory issue and has since had other breathing complications but with help from the vet we have been able to help him overcome these issues, however he was born with a deformed hip socket and after escaping from the house the other day returned home limping. We took him straight to the vet and after an X-ray we were told that he has a fractured hip.
The vet costs will be around $1000 to $1500 and we are hoping that some wonderful kind cat people might help us with these costs please.
Peanut will make a full recovery after this operation and after 2 weeks of cage rest he will be able to walk as normal.

Recovering from surgery 17 September 2016
Hi all
Thank you so my for your donations I am really humbled by so much kindness, Peanut had his surgery on Thursday and is spending the weekend at the vet clinic recovering.
He ended up having to go to a different town to have surgery done as when the vet attempted the first time the muscle and tissue round the area was deformed so he had to go and get operation preformed by a specialist.
She believed he had broken his hip as a young kitten and the bone had fused back and had caused the hip area to be weak and disformed.
Poor wee man has had a really rough start to life so I'm going to make sure he lives out the rest of his life happy and content and knowing he's loved.
